The road leading up to the Dark Fortress expansion was heavily delayed by massive backend server migrations and immediate balance hotfixes. Because the development cycle for the game’s next class started quite lateâwith internal testing only spinning up recentlyâmany players feared the project had been sidelined indefinitely.
While a portion of the community originally expected this evolution to drop alongside the latest patch, developer Phil has finally felt comfortable enough to lift the curtain on the Dragon Knightâs progress.
“Hey! Wanted to share a little something as we haven’t shared much for a while! Here is some early art development for the Dragon Knight class by @Ozurian. Dragon Knight will be a spear-focused offensive class. Apart from typical ‘Dragoon’ gameplay, it will also feature 3 dragon transformations.”

Departing from the traditional, defensive archetype of the base Knight class, the Dragon Knight shifts into a high-octane offensive power house.
Base Evolution: đĄïž Knight (Defensive / Tank)
New Paradigm: ⥠Dragon Knight (Offensive / Spear / Dragoon)
Core Mechanic: đ 3 Unique Dragon Transformations

While the class retains the iconic, high-flying “Dragoon” drop attacks and thrust mechanics common in traditional MMORPGs, its true signature mechanic lies in its shape-shifting capability. The class will allow players to cycle through three distinct dragon forms, heavily altering their skill sets and utility on the battlefield.
